Fonds & Stadspas

In Amsterdam bestaat het Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur (het voormalige Jongerencultuurfonds Amsterdam en het Jeugdfonds Sport Amsterdam zijn per 1 januari 2023 tot dit ene fonds gefuseerd) dat zich inzet voor kinderen met een moeilijke financiële thuissituatie. Om kinderen te ondersteunen voor cultuur (dans, muziek, theater, beeldend), sport én diplomazwemmen. We hebben eenzelfde doelstelling: Amsterdamse kinderen een kans geven om mee te doen en zich te ontwikkelen middels sport & cultuur.

Leerlingen van 4 t/m 18 jaar (vanaf 2 jaar in Amsterdam) met weinig geld kunnen met behulp van het Jeugdfonds Sport  & Cultuur een volledig schooljaar lang, 1 tot 3 lessen per week, volgen. Voor leerlingen met een Amsterdamse Stadspas kan de balletschool deze aanvraag meteen zelf indienen, voor leerlingen zonder Stadspas moet een intermediair de aanvraag doen. Leerlingen kunnen maximaal één culturele activiteit per jaar kiezen. Leerlingen van 0 t/m 14 jaar met een Stadspas kunnen daarnaast ook met de Kidsgids 1 half jaar 1 les per week volgen tegen betaling van 10 euro. Leerlingen kunnen maximaal twee activiteiten uit de kidsgids per jaar kiezen.

City pass & Funds

For students who can not pay the ballet lessons there are special funds that can pay the tuition fees for these students. Pupils from 4 to 18 years in Den Bosch can apply via an intermediary (social worker) at the Youth Culture & Sports Fund. Pupils from 2 to 18 years in Amsterdam can apply through an intermediary (social worker) at the Youth Culture & Sports Fund or, if they own a City Pass, the ballet school can submit this application for them. Depending on the situation of the pupil, these funds pay part or all of the lesson costs up to a maximum of 450 euros per child after application! Children can choose a maximum of one activity per year.

In Amsterdam it is also possible for children between the ages of 0 and 14 within a City Pass to take half a year of classes against payments of 10 euros. The ballet school and the municipality of Amsterdam then pay the rest of the lesson costs for the student! Children can choose up to two offers from the kids guide per year.
